Oregon Republican Party to Commence Listening Tour

Wilsonville, OR - The Oregon Republican Party on Friday announced the commencement of its upcoming Listening Tour with its first stop at Rivershore Bar & Grille, 1900 Clackamette Dr, Oregon City OR on September 2nd from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.

Party leaders will begin a listening tour, led by legislative leadership, in which they plan on asking all Oregonians to participate. The theme is set to be government transparency and accountability, to hear ideas about how to make government more accountable and accessible to the citizens it serves.

“It’s time to look forward, not backward.” Said Chairman Bill Currier in a statement. “Improving the transparency, accountability and efficiency of our government should not be a partisan idea, and Oregon Republicans invite all state residents to help us in creating good, common-sense solutions that will help make state government work better.”

The Oregon Republican Party is the state’s arm of the Republican National Committee. It’s Chairman and officers are dedicated to preserving and advancing Republican principles within the state of Oregon and to improving the lives and livelihoods of Oregon’s working families through economic freedom and equal protection under the law.
